The property
Terre di Nano covers about 50 hectares of the hill identified through toponomy, as early as the 11th century, with the name "Nano".
Terre di Nano today is an 18th century mansion, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and woods, located in the province of Siena, in the Val d'Orcia Natural and Cultural Artistic Park, a splendid area in southern Tuscany which became a Unesco World Heritage Site in 2004. A historical villa, recently renovated and furnished with great care, where you can spend a holiday of absolute relaxation in a welcoming and cozy atmosphere immersed in extraordinary beauty.
The vineyards
The first vines on the estate were planted in 1990, and are all trained according to the spurred cordon method. Over about the property, we have Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino, Merlot, and Petit Verdot grapes from which we produce wines aged in oak barrels and barriques.
The olive trees
The olive grove covers an area of about 4 hectares around the main villa. With the olive harvest taking place in November which allows us time to make our extra virgin olive oil through a rigorous cold pressing process.
Swimming pool
At Terre di Nano you are welcomed to relax and cool down at the swimming pool, admiring a spectacular view of sunny Val d’Orcia or rest in shade, surrounded by century-old cypress trees. Terre di Nano is a place where you can be in contact with nature, and rediscover the simplicity and genuineness of the earth, in an atmosphere of absolute relaxation.
